Dear Rep. Neugebauer,
I’m totally OUTRAGED at Rep. Alan Grayson who spoke from the House floor and said that the Republican health care plan was simply for Americans to "die quickly" if they get sick.
His “apology” was true a non-apology...!
When Rep. Joe Wilson shouted, "You lie!" The Democrats spun themselves and the media into a tizzy, demanding an apology. Wilson complied, and I believe his apology was sincere. However, they continued to press the issue, and Wilson was publically condemned.
Randy, I demand that the House censure Rep. Grayson in similar fashion to what they did to Wilson...!!!
Apologizing to the dead makes a total mockery of the concept of apologizing for a wrong.
Randy, I want you to support and PUSH Rep. Tom Price’s Resolution of Disapproval that mirrors the one Democrats approved against Wilson.
I agree with Rep. Price that Grayson’s conduct was “a breach of decorum and degraded the integrity and proceedings of the House”, but I DO NOT agree that the resolution should be withheld a little to give Grayson more time to consider an apology.
Grayson is despicable and should be disciplined immediately.

LET’S RAISE THEIR TAXES…!
Democrats in Congress are going to allow the Bush tax cuts of 2001 and 2003 to expire, resulting in what the Wall Street Journal called “the biggest tax increase in our nation’s history”.
Once these tax cuts are allowed to expire, taxpayers will face an estimated total of almost $2.4 trillion in additional taxes.
That means about 17 million seniors will face an estimated average tax increase of $2,034 each.
When these tax cuts are allowed to expire:
· The Marriage Penalty will be reinstated, costing married couples almost $1,500 per year on average.
· 26 million small business owners will face an average tax increase of $3,637.
· And, the Death Tax will return to its former high rate, which has been a leading cause of the demise of small businesses. This will cost American families an estimated $91 billion.
President Obama wants to raise tax rates on dividends and capital gains, causing stocks to lose an estimated additional $90-billion-plus in value.
And then if Congress passes it’s “cap-and-trade” energy plan into law, the cost to each American household will average about $4,6093 per year in higher taxes and energy prices, appearing on your electric bill, gas bill, water bill, phone bill, and at the gasoline pumps.
Americans already pay, on average, an estimated 35 to 40 percent of their earnings each year in federal taxes. We are simply taxed out the wahzoo.
How much more “hope and change” can American families afford?

May I suggest that conservatives stop using that phrase, which has implications that are so far from the truth that are so unrealistic that it misleads the American public.
When people say that, "We can all agree there is room for improvement in our health care system..." they are misunderstanding something of critical importance...
- there is NO health care system ANYWHERE that even comes close to what we provide right here in the U.S.,and
- they are impugning the integrity of physicians like myself.
It’s not our health care system that is broken..............!
It’s ACCESS to our health care system that people are really talking about...!
We’re not really talking about the health care system itself, but some sort of reform of health insurance coverage.
Most of the current polls say that Americans are satisfied with their current health care insurance.
I know that you are NOT a liberal, but liberals like to spout things that too many conservatives tend to latch onto. For example, I don’t accept the liberal premise that our health care system is broken, and my patients throughout Abilene and all of West Texas don’t either.

Obama's Health Care Plan

I agree 100%.
I'm a physician in Abilene, TX, in solo private practice, and I have 7 full time employees.
If the Obama health care plan is enacted, I will not be able to afford to pay health care benefits to all 7 of my employees.
Obama's health care plan WILL FORCE ME TO TERMINATE TWO EMPLOYEES...!
As a result of terminating two employees, I will not be able to see and treat all the patients who want to come to me with their health problems.
So, I have three questions:

We’re gonna PAY other nations affected by the global financial crisis…???
Democrats have included a $5 billion increase for the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to help aid nations affected by the global financial crisis.
(Pardon me here, but when OUR nation is suffering, with 1.8 MILLION jobs lost since Obama took office, and AMERICANS are facing huge tax increases…HOW DARE the government to give away $5 billion to “other nations”…!!! )
Republicans say that is reason enough to vote against the entire $106 billion spending bill and are certain voters will understand.
“Once the American people learn that the Democrats are using a war-funding bill for a global bailout, they’ll know what to do,” House Republican Conference Chairman Mike Pence (Ind.) told The Hill. “We’ll take the message to the floor and to the American people, and I expect we’ll win this fight.”

- Increase requirements for firearms purchases, far beyond those ever proposed.
- Create a national firearms registry overseen by the Federal Government.
- Invoke Draconian penalties for bookkeeping errors related to the Federal Firearms Database.
This bill will FORCE you to take a written exam to prove that you are "fit" to exercise your Constitutionally protected right to keep and bear arms.

Pay a gun tax of $25 or more on all firearm purchases. (Now this tax is over and above the usual and customary sales tax, so it boils down to the fact that the government is trying to control my behavior by taxing my actions……..and I just can’t fully express to you how offensive this is to me…!!!)
Moreover, H.R. 45 bans all private firearms sales and maximizes penalties for minor clerical errors in dealing with the national gun registry.

Dear Senator Cornyn,
No new taxes for socialized medicine!
One of the ideas being proposed by the Senate Finance Committee is to pay for government-run health care by raising taxes on beverages. This tax scheme is a bad one, and would cost everyone that enjoys soda, sports drinks or alcoholic beverages. Raising taxes on the American people during a recession is bad policy, regardless of what the money will supposedly be spent on.
Leaders in the Senate are planning on paying for the government takeover of healthcare with massive taxes on soda and alcoholic beverages. It’s a hefty chunk of change: beer would be up 145% per six pack, the liquor tax would increase $2.54 per fifth, and the soda tax could be raised as well.
Those who want to see a Canadian-style socialized health care system have managed to sneak reconciliation language into the budget which means that Senator Reid and his allies can limit debate of this monumental decision and pass sweeping changes to our health care system with only 51 votes. That’s why every vote counts to preserve the choice and freedom we have.
This is something America just can’t afford right now – these tax hikes mean less money in our own pockets and a severe hit to the already suffering restaurant business and their employees.
I'd like to see you publicly state your opposition to the beverage tax idea.

Patriotic to pay more taxes...???
Dear President Obama,
Vice President Joe Biden said during the 2008 campaign that it is patriotic for Americans to pay more in taxes.
Since taking over control of Washington, the Democrats have decided we should all be more "patriotic" having passed or proposed more than $5 trillion in new spending and $1.4 trillion in new taxes.
And I do not approve of the $1.4 trillion in new taxes, $636 billion in higher energy taxes, the staggering redistribution of wealth and wasteful spending you are prescribing as a cure for the economic crisis.
To hold the Democrats in Washington accountable for their record tax, spend and borrow schemes, I am sending a virtual tea bag to protest your plans to raise taxes on every American this Tax Day.

Obama apologizes to Europe for America
Dear Mr. Obama,
It is absolutely pathetic that a president of the United States feels the need to disparage America while in foreign countries, and to make apologies for America.
America leads, America succeeds, and America is willing to take a stand.
It's DISGRACEFUL for you to show your disdain for the American dream by apologizing to European countries and Turkey.
I'm proud to be an American, and unlike your wife, I've ALWAYS been proud to be an American.
I DON'T apologize!
You should be ASHAMED of your "apology tour".

Immigration increases the US unemployment rate
Dear Representative Neugebauer,
I am sure you were as appalled as I was when you saw the unemployment figures for March. It is truly demoralizing that so many Americans are unemployed. Given that so many Americans are out of work, don't you think Congress should reexamine America's excessive immigration policies?
The United States admits 138,000 foreign workers each month. The vast majority of these foreign workers do not possess extraordinary talents or skills. Americans would gladly work the jobs filled by foreign workers if given the opportunity.
While 13.2 million Americans sit unemployed, 7.7 million illegal alien workers have jobs to which they are not entitled. I find it appalling that Congress has allowed this injustice to occur. If our nation's immigration laws were enforced, then America would have millions fewer unemployed workers.
I urge you to right this tremendous wrong by working to reform America's ineffective and wasteful immigration system. Please work to halt most forms of immigration so that unemployed Americans have a decent chance of finding a job.

Obama doesn't want TARP money returned to tax payers
On Friday April 3, 2009, President Obama refused to allow JPMorgan Chase bank to re-pay the TARP money back to the US Government.
Obama had a meeting with the CEOs of some of the big US banks.
JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon insisted that he’d like to give the government’s TARP money back as soon as practical, and asked the president to “streamline” that process.
But Obama didn’t like that idea — arguing that the system still needs government capital.
Several CEOs disagreed, arguing instead that returning TARP money was their patriotic duty, that they didn’t need it anymore, and that publicity surrounding the return would send a positive signal of confidence to the markets.
The president offered an analogy: “This is like a patient who’s on antibiotics,” he said. “Maybe the patient starts feeling better after a couple of days, but you don’t stop taking the medicine until you’ve finished the bottle.” Returning the money too early, the president argued could send a bad signal.

I sent this to the Obama Administration:
I am writing to voice my strong support for the Minerals Management Service’s (MMS) Draft Proposed 5-year OCS Oil and Gas Leasing Program for 2010-2015. Consider these comments as a filing in Docket ID # MMS-2008-OMM-0045.
This program presents positive, meaningful steps to address our nation’s growing and dangerous dependence on far-away people and places for our essential energy supplies. Rarely has the imperative to increase the production of domestic energy been more important or apparent as it is today.
Oil and natural gas affect practically all Americans—anyone who cooks or heats with gas or natural oil, anyone who drives a car, anyone who flies on planes and anyone who buys goods transported to them by gas-powered trucks or planes.
With an economy in peril and millions of Americans out of work, developing just a portion of our nation’s abundant offshore energy resource base would generate hundreds of thousands of new jobs, billions in additional tax revenue and royalties, and help ensure that our country’s long road back to economic recovery is built quicker and made smoother thanks to a steady stream of reliable, affordable energy.
No other country in the developed world has even considered locking its abundant resources away. America alone has decided to forego hundreds of thousands of new jobs, billions in additional revenue, and a generation's worth of affordable energy, thanks to an offshore energy ban that disproportionately affects the most, those with the least. Although that ban is no longer operable, no energy can be produced without a forward-looking, supply-oriented five-year energy plan.
Therefore, I respectfully ask that the MMS proceed with their 5-year plan and include all the areas outlined in the Draft Proposed Program. Further, MMS should continue aggressive leasing in open areas and not subject new leases to any additional environmental restrictions.

Obama's Socialist Budget Proposal
Dear Senator Hutchinson,
Please take a stand AGAINST President Obama’s socialist budget proposal.
In his press conference on Tuesday night, the President tried to clarify why massive government spending and saddling America with unprecedented levels of debt are justified. He said that his administration needs to make some "tough budgetary choices", but the overall budget proposal is the largest in the history of the world. He tried to make America think that if his agenda is not passed, there will be "zero growth" in the economy. I don’t believe that, and most of the Texans I know don’t believe that.
Obama’s budget will increase the National Debt $7 trillion over the next 10 years. Under this budget, America will reach the point where it is paying more each year on the interest to the national debt than it is paying for national defense.
We simply can't keep borrowing and borrowing. We can't let Obama take us down the path to socialism.
I want Republicans to come up with a better budget proposal......one that CUTS GOVERNMENT SPENDING.
But in the meantime, we absolutely MUST defeat Obama’s Socialist Budget Proposal...!

Obama's MASSIVE Budget
Dear Senator Cornyn,
I urge you to reject President Obama's budget, which taxes and spends at a rate that Americans like me today, and my children and grandchildren tomorrow, simply cannot afford.
The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO) has predicted that the Obama budget would push the federal deficit to a mind-numbing $1.85 trillion this year and pile up $9.3 trillion in deficits over the next decade, on top of the existing $11 trillion national debt. CBO called these deficits "unsustainable."
What's more, the President's budget would impose a whole host of new and higher taxes just as our economy is struggling to emerge from its current recession. The $636 billion income tax increase on individuals and small businesses would discourage entrepreneurship and stifle job creation. The plan for a cap-and-trade energy system would raise the costs of electricity, gasoline, and other products and services that I purchase. I've seen estimates that this so-called "light bulb tax" could cost American families as much as $3,100 annually!
I also understand that the House and Senate leadership are considering a parliamentary maneuver, called "budget reconciliation," to stifle debate on the President's budget and ram through its controversial policies on energy and nationalized healthcare. Such far-reaching changes to our economy and society merit time for careful debate and consideration, not only within the halls of Congress but also among Americans like me. I urge you to oppose any such anti-democratic maneuver.
We cannot continue on our current course of taxing, borrowing, and
spending. America needs a budget that cuts spending, promotes fiscal
responsibility, and encourages economic growth. President Obama's budget advances none of these goals.

"5 Stooges" on the "Gang of 10"
Dear Senator:
It’s absolutely disgusting to see Republican Senators cave.
I’m referring to the "5 Stooges" on the "Gang of 10"
Rather than sticking to conservative principles and seizing upon a winning issue for Republicans, you would rather support higher taxes and more government regulation. I’d rather see you do NOTHING than to sell us out.
Your bill will cost us taxpayers an estimated $84 billion in more taxes and programs that are not part of conservative government.
I don’t want to dedicate $7.5 billion in direct taxpayer support to car companies, with instructions to produce "alternative fuel" vehicles.
Your plan to repeal the tax deduction to domestic oil and gas producers is really nothing more than a tax hike on oil and gas companies doing business in America.
Your arbitrary, 50-mile no-drilling zone along the coasts will further restrict access to enormous potential resource deposits, such as the Gulf of Mexico's Destin Dome, which is 25 miles offshore.
As a voter I want the offshore drilling ban lifted.
As a voter I want drilling in ANWR.
As a voter I want oil shale developed.
As a voter I want full access to new supplies of American energy!
I have had enough of Republican compromise in the Senate!
It is time for Democrats and Republicans in Congress to get out of the way and stop holding American resources hostage!

Call Congress back into Emergency Session
Dear Senator Cornyn,
I’m absolutely LIVID with Speaker Pelosi for adjourning Congress without addressing America’s energy needs.
And I’m sorely disappointed that the Whitehouse has refused to call Congress back into session, saying it "won't make a difference." Down here in Abilene, we say that is the wrong decision.
As I understand it, the president can declare that Congress must sit for an emergency session. I understand he cannot set the agenda – BUT……President Bush can set the agenda in the minds of the American people.
If President Bush would simply address the American people and tell them that he is bringing Congress back into session to address the country's energy problems, then we the people can demand that Pelosi set the agenda to address the need for domestic drilling.
If we can’t get the President to re-call Congress to a special session, then I urge you to support the Rebublican initiative to shut down the government when Congress returns from its five-week summer break in early September.
I’d like to see you vote against a resolution to fund the federal government for the 2009 fiscal year unless Democrats agree to lift an offshore drilling moratorium. If the budget resolution fails, many agencies and departments would be denied money to operate and would be forced to close.
Addressing domestic oil production is important to the American people for supply and security reasons. It’s time for Republicans to step up to the plate and play hard ball.

Disgust with Speaker Pelosi
I’m absolutely disgusted with Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi...!
I’m referring to what she told CNN that she would block any vote to allow offshore drilling.
How dare her to be so blatantly arrogant to say that "she will not allow additional reserves to be drilled because oil companies already hold leases on 68 million acres of federal land that are not being drilled".
Is she just totally oblivious of the recent Congressional testimony of oil company representatives who told us that IF they had found oil under these lands, they would be already be pumping it ?
She really NEEDS to understand that the oil companies need to drill where the oil is.
Known reserves offshore, in Alaska, the Bakken fields of North Dakota and Montana, and elsewhere, can meet the energy demand for at least 100 years.
Americans need to ask, "Why is it that Pelosi and her colleagues don't want this oil produced?"
Instead, she says the president should release 70 million barrels of oil from the strategic reserves, which would provide immediate price relief.
This alternative would supply less than four days of the U.S. demand, and this wouldn’t change the pump price of gasoline even a tenth of a cent. This silly proposal would do NOTHING to increase the supply of oil and decrease the amount we need to import.
With thinking like this from our Congressional leaders, it’s no wonder why Congress’s approval rating is only 14%.

Can Obama Legally Be President?
It seems that Barack Obama is not qualified to be president after all for the following reason: Barack Obama is not legally a U.S. natural-born citizen according to the law on the books at the time of his birth, which falls between December 24, 1952 to November 13, 1986.
Presidential office requires a natural-born citizen if the child was not born to two U.S. citizen parents. John McCain was born to two US citizens even though he was born in the Panama Canal.
Law very clearly stipulates: "If only one parent was a U.S. citizen at the time of your birth, that parent must have resided in the United States for at least ten years, at least five of which had to be after the age of 16."
Barack Obama's father was not a U.S. citizen and Obama's mother was only 18 when Obama was born, which means though she had been a U.S. citizen for 10 years, (or citizen perhaps because of Hawaii being a territory) the mother
fails the test for being so for at least 5 years prior to Barack
Obama's birth, but after age 16. In essence, she was not old enough to qualify her son for automatic U.S. citizenship. At most, there were only 2 years elapsed since his mother turned 16 at the time of Barack Obama's birth when she was 18 in
Hawaii. His mother would have needed to have been 16 + 5 = 21 years old, at the time of Barack Obama's birth for him to have been a natural-born citizen.
As aforementioned, she was a young college student at the time. Barack Obama was already 3 years old at that time his mother would have needed to have waited to have him as the only U.S. Citizen parent. Obama instead should have been naturalized, but even then, that would still disqualify him from holding
the office.
*** Naturalized citizens are ineligible to hold the office of
President.
*** Though Barack Obama was sent back to Hawaii at age 10, all the other info does not matter because his mother is the one who needed to have been a U.S. citizen for 10 years prior to his birth on August 4, 1961, with 5 of those years being after age 16.
Further, Obama may have had to have remained in the country for some time to protect any citizenship he would have had, rather than living in Indonesia. Now you can see why Obama's aides stopped his speech about how we technically have more than 50 states, because it would have led to this discovery. This is very clear cut and a blaring violation of U.S. election law.
I think the Gov. of California would be very interested in knowing this if Obama were elected President without being a natural-born U.S. citizen, and it would set precedence.Stay tuned to your TV sets because I suspect some of this information will be leaking through over the next several days.

Drill Here, Drill Now...!!!
Now that President Bush has lifted the executive ban on offshore oil drilling and challenged Congress to follow suit, I’m looking for Congress to act too. It’s well known that both executive and legislative bans must be lifted before offshore exploration can happen.
I’m tired of hearing the Democratic excuses, such as drilling now won’t help for several years. If we had drilled 10 years ago and we wouldn’t be facing this issue today.
I agree with President Bush..."Failure to act is unacceptable. It's unacceptable to me and it's unacceptable to the American people."
Virtually every thinking American knows that there are no quick fixes.
We also know that "alternative sources of energy" are NOT going to bring down the price of gas at the pumps, because these alternative sources will not produce a single drop of oil to be refined into gasoline.
Do Americans want lower gasoline prices?
Then we need to demand that Congress take action to lift the bans on offshore drilling and drilling in ANWAR.
